Definitions
Education Subscriber: The entity responsible for managing K-12 Accounts within a school or school district.
K-12 Account Admin: Designated personnel authorized by the Education Subscriber to manage K-12 Accounts and handle personal information access requests from Student Dreamers' parents or legal guardians.
K-12 Moderators: School personnel authorized by the Education Subscriber to use Rich Dreams for educational purposes and moderate Student Dreamers' usage.
Student Dreamers: Students permitted by the Education Subscriber to use Rich Dreams under the moderation of K-12 Moderators.
K-12 Account: An account created by Education Subscribers for K-12 Moderators to manage Student Dreamers' access and usage of Rich Dreams.
Roles of the Parties
Education Subscriber: The Education Subscriber oversees personal information processing under their K-12 Account, decides when to use Rich Dreams, and administers Student Dreamers' personal information according to their privacy policies. Any inquiries from parents regarding personal information should be directed to the Education Subscriber or K-12 Moderators.
Rich Dreams: Rich Dreams provides a secure platform for K-12 Moderators to use with permission from the Education Subscriber. We act as a "school official" and may receive Student Dreamers' personal information to deliver educational services. We do not use this information for other purposes.
Information Collected by Rich Dreams
Rich Dreams may collect Personal Information, including Sensitive Information, when Student Dreamers use the Services. This includes data such as names, addresses, dates of birth, and school information. We use this information solely to provide and improve our services.
How Rich Dreams Uses Personal Information
Personal Information is used to deliver Rich Dreams' functionality, enhance services, and comply with Education Subscriber instructions. We do not sell or use personal information for advertising purposes. Rich Dreams maintains separate web pages for product access and marketing, ensuring Student Dreamers' privacy.
Sharing Personal Information
We share personal information only with consent, as directed by the Education Subscriber, to provide services, or for legal reasons. We do not share information for third-party advertising.
Security
Rich Dreams prioritizes the security of Student Dreamers' personal information and implements measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill legal obligations or purposes outlined in this policy.
Access and Deletion of Information
Requests regarding personal information access or deletion should be directed to the Education Subscriber. We comply with these requests as directed by the Education Subscriber.
Conflicting Terms
In case of discrepancies, this K-12 Privacy Policy supersedes other terms.
